I have been monitoring the littering habits around North Wales, and the lifting of lockdowns has given me the opportunity to observe the impact made by the increasing footfall in the area.

The first major contributing items were fast food packaging, branding logos.  I decided to collect and repurpose them, by creating new paper from the pulp, and rebranding these pieces of unique paper, with a printed fresh water crustacean.  The texture created an aesthetic of cave paintings and street art.  I then used them as a method of education and shared local knowledge, like a way marker, a sign, to the video online highlighting the issues our Welsh waters face, and connecting the 'online traveller' (aka the viewer), to that place.
